CNN is left with a big skid-mark from this chump and his antics. He and his brother were big energy to the left, not so much anymore.

I have read a bit about this to try to figure out what the controversy is.

The TV guy advised his politician brother on how to downplay a scandal.

I don't understand the problem.

But, I don't really get most of the so called outrage when it comes to politics.

Optics. Purely optics...suspending him is CNN doing what looks right for the moment. They don't care what he did. Jeffrey Toobin was caught masturbating during a zoom meeting while working for the New Yorker. Guess where he works now?

he was using his position as a "reporter" for cnn. To pass along any and every bit of information, when ever an accuser came forward. Giving brother andy a heads up, allowing him and he #metoo / times up team to get ahead of any "stories" Disparaging, attacking and calling said accuser's truthfulness, in to question.

Exactly what I was telling someone yesterday. Indefinitely could mean he’ll be back after a couple weeks in his basement.

They are a joke for a "news source" and are competing with the rest of the Democrat propaganda wing for eyeballs. Their viewership is so low that they're fighting for their existence. They probably figure firing him gives them more credibility.
