I've had the pleasure of training and shooting with Ken though it's been a few years. I think he makes many excellent points in this video about today's world. Hope you appreciate what he has to say and where he's coming from.

Pretty much what I have been hearing for quite awhile now.
Avoid confrontation, disengage if at all possible.
Practice and practice some more.
Have a plan.

I am not LE, I carry every time I leave the house for the protection of myself and family. My wife carries as well now and we practice together, we have a plan and try to practice common scenarios if conflict is unavoidable. We don’t go to places where we probably should not go. We mind our own business.

We stay safe by planning travel and knowing where we are going and how we are getting there.

I am not responsible to or for anyone else except my family.

Saw this last night. I agree.
Unless it’s a life threatening situation for myself or family, I’m outta there.
Sad actually. I know there are a lot of us out there that would like to help, but not worth the risk anymore.

I've been saying and teaching that for years. But bring it up here and be prepared to be called a coward or whatever for not wanting to intervene and save the world.

I guess even being a good witness can land you with charges these days. Thinking of the guy recording from down the road in the Arbury case.

….assuming he was truly just being a good witness and not a willing participant.

And the guy in Arvada would likely be alive today if he had not tried to do the police's job.

You are absolutely right. Sad times indeed. Many of us feel this way brother.
