Saddle for Rifle Mount on Tripod

My current rimfire stock doesn't have an Arca rail for a tripod mount. Until I figure out a long term solution are any of the saddle mounts (like Hog or Triclawps) workable?

Curious, which stock do you have?

Ive used a pig saddle several times with my gen 1 Element chassis (no dovetail) & it worked well enough.

I think the RRS VYCE is nicer than either of those. It's my choice for a saddle type clamp.
