I didn't watch Full House, but liked him on AFV. My wife and I saw his raunchy stand-up routine at the Boulder Theater.

I saw this on foxnews.com last night and was somewhat floored, especially after reading "there were no signs of foul play or drugs". 65 is really young; considering everything. Must have had a bad ticker.

I just found out his sister's name was Gay Saget. That must have been a rough one growing up...

On a serious note, that family drew some bad cards unfortunately. All of the siblings died early.

I enjoyed his stand up too. Never watched FH, but did watch AFV when he was the host.

His outcome might be just around the corner for anyone of us, folks in their mid 40's core all the time. Good reminder to frequently let the folks in your life know that ya love 'em just in case.

My old Army buddy, may he rest in peace, got drunk, fell (assumed) and hit his head on the kitchen counter, then fell backwards and hit it on the floor. Ex-wife found him dead on the floor on his back a day after he went "missing."

Apparently, he had a few other similar episodes prior that year. I spoke with him a few months before and he never let on. Said his ex exaggerated his love of the drink. I knew he struggled with alcohol off and on for years, but thought he had things under control.

If you have friends that struggle with addiction, talk to them often and let them know people care about them.
