"According to a response letter (embedded below), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) acknowledged it has over 920 million firearms records, (920,664,765 records).
Aditionaly, almost 866 million of your personal firearms transaction records have been scanned and digitized out of the nearly one billion records.
By federal law, the ATF cannot create a gun registry, but all the building blocks for a future registry are falling into place especially with the scanning of documents."

This shouldn't surprise anyone...

I?m only surprised they have all of my transactions. By the time they get everyone else?s those numbers could be in the trillions.

Where are hackers when you need them.
It would be like making wrist and ankle chains and claiming that you weren’t trying to bring back slavery.
Out of records division in Georgia. It has existed since the early 1970s at least. While they might be scanned, that doesn't mean it is indexed into a database, and it couldve been turned into a database 50 years ago. So in many ways, this is old news and a bit click bait.
Traces still work on reverse. Mfg reports distributor who reports dealer who reports store who pulls up 4473. If store is closed, out of records division acts in the place of the closed store.

It is not just a registration and threat of confiscation that makes me nervous.
If one part of government has this info it can be very easy for all parts to access it.
Then, when you need any related service, you could be denied or placed in a different category than non gun owners.
Think health care, loans, insurance, any type of business document or permit, including driver's license.

[emoji38][emoji1787][emoji2][emoji28], I Luv it, Government can't keep track of shit, Billion might as well be a Trillion, unless they got it out for you , it's a zero sum
gain of information, except theirs a lot of gun owners.
