We attempted to stop at one this summer in Alabama. It was a complete cluster fuck.
I hit those things in Texas every time I go. Not really on purpose but I always seem to find myself at one.
Like many don't give a rats ass about named fast food restaurants coming to CO, I want to be grumpy and say I don't give a rats ass about this said store coming to CO too!

Oh yeah, "In-and-Out". If I could have one built next to the "Kum-and-go" it would be perfect.
Seriously though, I do like their burgers and lack of bs.

Uhm. Pretty sure it?s a convenience store chain. I usually gas up the rental car and grab a Red Bull and I?m back on the road.

I don't think that Buc-ees and Kum-N-Go or In-N-Out are in the same league. I may be wrong

Passed one in Denton Texas on the trip back to Denver from the Florida Keys.
I was looking for a gas station and missed this one.
I had never heard of them before seeing this one from I-35E

I'll be at that one Weds morning. It's down the road from where we're staying.

Doubt it, there isn't enough real estate at the Johnsons Corner location to carry a place the size of Buc-ees. I-25 through that whole area has been expanded and the exit to the north has been redone, I would guess it would be located there.

Never seen a Buc-ee's before, but I've heard about them. Should be interesting. And rumor has it there may be an In-and-Out coming to Parker in the future. That oughta bugger up traffic for us for quite awhile.

Do they have taco bars in Buc-ee's? I stayed in Texas a couple years ago for a few days and some stop and rob nearby had a taco bar. It. Was. Amazing.

Not a taco bar, but they do make lots of good food in there.

I had to look up the gas station with the tacos in Texas. It was Stripes.
So, what is the schedule, like 2 years out for Buc-ee's? For what it is worth, the Colorado Springs Whataburger opening was canceled for late 2021 - with an announcement that sometime in 2022 they will provide new opening dates.

Longtime franchisee BurgerWorks will open a training center and its first restaurant this year. Additional locations are planned for 2022.
The training center will be at 5905 Constitution Ave. Remodeling of the existing building on the site will begin soon, with scheduled completion this summer. (Note: Right across the street from In & Out burger)
The first restaurant will be in the InterQuest Marketplace, with groundbreaking toward the end of the summer for a planned opening before year-end.
Groundbreaking and opening events will be held to celebrate new restaurant locations. The company plans to release information on 2022 growth plans later this year.

I'm so confused. How the hell is the world's largest gas station, convivence store going to open in CO? Several gas station pumps are shut off due to no replacement parts available to fix them, gas not available, ZERO staff to work. Yea, seems like a solid business decision. Better have a stellar wage, 401k, weed friendly employment policy, benefits from day 1, LBQGUHGRN friendly, furry outfit uniform, 30days off a year due to new sensitive holidays, etc.. Good luck our new Beaver Brand. LOL
They actually pay pretty decent for a gas station. Don't know about the other stuff
