View Full Version : My work here is done
Yesterday, Tuesday 02/22/2022, my younger son married the most wonderful girl-I've rarely seen two people so perfectly matched. Now both sons are married, off making their own lives (his big brother has been at it for over 10 years lol) so my job is finished hahaha. I'm thankful they both live close by otherwise I'd be out of this state, probably in northern Arizona somewhere-had enough of Tucson when I left in 1984.
It was a great wedding, exactly everything THEY wanted with the people that mattered to them in attendance. I'm still smiling. Oh and as a bonus I get to have Burgie keep Ziva company for a few days LOL. Here's a pic of the dogs, not the happy couple [LOL]

Congrats. I’m in the same boat, if our son wasn’t nearby (no significant other yet) we would be in WY.

Hahaha, Ziva is 11 while Burgie just turned 1. She's very tolerant of him and his high energy. I told my son and now d-i-l not to bring his bed as he only sleeps on Ziva's while curled up next to her.
Thanks lr2, winters in Wyoming are a bit much for me! A very good friend that retired from ICE went to Wyoming after years in the Tucson sector. Last year they moved to Alabama, he's from nearby Florida, and is very happy there.
