Easy there preacher... you might offend someone saying that! (God bless you.) Lol, I was doing some light reading and this is what I came across:

Is it me, or are people just way over-sensitive these days? Read to comprehend. And remember, kids are our future leaders... wow.

What I think is sad is that 90 something percent of American's profess they are Christian yet think saying "Merry Christmas" is offensive... Me thinks, some folxs ain't readin' their books... lol.

Once Christians allowed Christmas to be a state holiday, they pretty much gave up any control over it's meaning to the masses. Also, since it is a state recognized holiday, it shouldn't be any more offensive then telling someone that it is Monday or Thursday or March or something.

Also would like to send out a special prayer for all the service men and women out there thank you for your time and for saying "not on my watch" to some of us that means more than we can say. Sleep good, do your job well and come home safe. Merry Christmas to all of you and may God watch over you tonight as you watch over all of us. Thanks.

I just went to target and safeway to get some last minute stuff and when I got home I was downright pissed. Bratty kids, mouth breathing morons, and obama voters galore. I couldn't take six steps without some yahoo walking or stopping in front of me.

Even more important now to remember why we have Christmas.

Luke 2
1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/1a) world should be taxed (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/1b). 2 (And this taxing (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/2a) was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/4a); (because he was of the house and lineage of David)

5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/5a) wife, being great with child.

6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

7 And she brought forth her firstborn (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/7a) son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/7b).

8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/9a) of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/10a) tidings of great joy (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/10b), which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/11a) this day in the city of David a Saviour (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/11b), which is Christ the Lord (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/11c).

12 And this shall be a sign (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/12a) unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14 Glory (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/14a) to God in the highest, and on earth peace (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/2/14b), good will toward men.

Just starting one with the family.... a stuff free Christmas!

Where the boys get nothing but this they will use... no toys. Camping stuff, like mess kits, compass.... football camp.... Not stopping other family members from getting them stuff, but letting them know why, and making gift suggestions. Next year maybe money in their names to charities and volunteering... tired of all the plastic stuff that sees little to no use...
Needless to say they may be in for a little shock in the morning...

Not a bad idea... Right now, as I type this one of my twin three year olds is throwing the mother of all tantrums. I know they're too young to understand, but this has been a hard year financially. We made sure the kids at least had some gifts, and all they want to do is throw and ever-loving tantrum.

Next year, I'll take the family to Christmas Mass and then we'll go to a homeless shelter and volunteer our time to help people who really have it bad. It's time for an attitude correction before they're too old to be corrected. Peace be with you and God bless.

My mom's birthday is Christmas Eve. So every year (for the past 10 years or so) we go over to her house and eat crab legs. Also, every we get those crackers that have a cheap little toy and a thin paper hat inside. Everyone puts on their hats, shows what cheesy toy they got (that usually immediately goes into the trash) and goes around the table reading the joke/riddle that came inside the cracker. Fun times and those crackers are cheap. So we spend the night, then go to the wife's family's house for Christmas day.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Real quiet Christmas here. Wife worked night shift last night and is working tonight, too. I fondled guns and split/stacked firewood all day. Kid's in Iraq for Christmas...again (5th year in a row he's been in Iraq or Afghanistan for Christmas). All other family lives outta state.

Got a nice fire going tonight...looks like a Terrier bomb went off. Little dog carcasses all over the floor in front of the woodstove. They do like to stay warm.

Gonna have a shot of Buffalo Trace bourbon and watch the latest Rambo movie. An exceedingly high body count always puts me in a holiday mood!

Its been nice and quiet here all day, just me, the wife and the dogs......but my wife just left to pick up my inlaws from the airport. So much for quiet. Im going to enjoy the next two hours of peace before they arrive and I have to put on my happy face and share the couch. [Rant2]

Ever see that movie 4 christmas's? yep...thats me.
was at my dads this morning, fiances mom and step dad along with her aunt and uncle...(who happen to pick favorites and we got screwed this year.), then we went to her dad's and step-moms and all their family (they drink a lot so it is cool and I scored a nice big bottle of gentleman jack![Beer])
now back to our house where my mom and her boyfriend will be coming over for some appetizers and lots of drinks.

still have my sister and brother in law coming on sunday. it is never ending![Bang]

the dogs loved it though...we got 2 puppies this year and this is their first christmas. they love it! probably because they got more presents to open than we did. The little Lhasa Apso loves opening presents because she was getting toy after toy and treats, so now anytime a present is around she instantly is in your lap and helps open it because she thinks it will be for her[ROFL1]
