We all know the networks are circling the drain being propaganda outlets and are horrible at providing honest and objective news reports.
9 news is the worst with Nancy boy Kyle Clark who guzzles the swill of the democratic machine with gusto. Their broadcasts have been called the “Mommy News” by a local radio host, nothing but danger weather for the kids and the puppy that needs a forever home stories.
I quit watching them a long time ago.
I generally will catch 7 news before I head out to work (mainly for the weather) and while not great it serves the purpose usually.
Sadly they are circling the drain, Mike Nelson who is/was a very well regarded Meteorologist is circling the drain, he swallowed the “Climate Change”pill and took the enema as well- if I hear him say “Every particle of C02 is like a feather in a down comforter that makes the earth warmer” I will projectile vomit.
Lately I have noticed a trend of “Diversity Hires” for on air personalities and in all honesty, they are horrible. Unattractive, poorly spoken, terrible on air presence.
I never thought I would miss Paula Woodward, Ward Lucas and Bertha Lynn.
Karl Akers, Bob Palmer and Stormy Rottman are rolling in their graves.

I couldn't have said it any better. You left out Ed Sardella and Larry Green. I take a nap when my wife has it on.

Jessica Lebel is the only thing on local TV worth watching.

Funny thing about local news is they know most people just want to see the weather so they "bury" it in the middle of the program, forcing you to watch the first 15 minutes of news (and commercials) before you get to what you want.
You know there's absolutely no real news on when the first story, right out of the gate, is some "human interest" story or an "investigative report" on something nobody really cares about.
Whenever we see that my wife says "so I guess there isn't any actual NEWS then?"
Also as far as hawt weather girls, Channel 9's Danielle Grant is pretty easy on the eyes too. ;)
9 news could have the hottest naked weather chick on and I still wouldn't watch. Kyle makes me vomit in my mouth a little when he opens his mouth.
Fox 31 seems to be about the only "news" we can stand these days.

The “She Gorilla” on 9 is just laughable.
Jessica Lebel is my favorite. I married her look-a-like 10 years ago too.

I used to watch the Denver news religiously as a kid/teen- local at 5pm, national at 6pm. Channel 2 was also popular because it was on a 9pm, since 10pm was too late for a school night. I distinctly remember stories covering the "War of the Cities" in the Iran-Iraq conflict, but I think if I watched regularly now, I would get stuck with a permanent eye-roll.
if I hear him say “Every particle of C02 is like a feather in a down comforter that makes the earth warmer” I will projectile vomit..
Does he really say exactly that?
I think Methane is more like the feather - we gotta kill all of HBAR's cows to save our mother earth.

TV news is the least amount of information delivered over the longest period of time.
I stopped watching it 25 years ago.
Wife just HAS to watch 7 News to see what the weather's going to do. As soon as the <gag>"Sports" starts, it's back to whatever the fuck we were watching. If it were up to me, I'd only watch old Looney Tunes cartoons. At least THOSE were honest and made sense.

I used to watch the morning news, but now it is mostly just Frank Azar commercials with a little bit of news here and there. That guys marketing budget must be huge.

Why is everyone picking on me?
Maybe we just have a beef with your cattle.......[Coffee]
^haha
Exactly, BP.
But I'm just picking on you because I'm jealous of you, HBAR. Moving to WY and having a herd sure sounds like the good life to me right about now.
HBO had a show in the 80s called “Not Necessarily the News”. It was great, pre-dated The Onion, same satirical humor. News the way it should be lol.
The local news across the nation is why people watch that dogshit on comedy central and pay attention to it.

The reason I asked is because it was to determine how credible he was.
Go back and listen.
He did not say ?every particle of CO2?
If he would have said that, he would have zero credibility.
He didn?t say that.

So what is difference between "each particle" (which he did say and was also on the screen) and "every particle"?
Just a quick google?..
What is the difference between Particle and Molecule?
? Molecule is also a particle.
? Molecules are made up by chemically bonding two or more atoms of the same element.
? Particles can have several meanings. Particles can be molecules, atoms, ions, etc.
Based on this I am not sure what the issue is with BP?s post.

For the intent of communication there is no difference.
Each=every.

If the news anchor called molecules particles, he is incorrect.
If a layman used the wrong term, it can be forgiven.
If a "science professional" lecturing us about climate change uses the incorrect terminology, their credibility needs to be judged.
The anchor used the correct term ("molecule").

But... Is it?
It is
or isn't.....
JFC - every douche on every media source worldwide is a twatwaffle, parroting the same "Global Warming/Climate Change" bullshit that the Left demands they all shovel down our throats! "OMG! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!! SEND US MONEY SO WE CAN FIX IT!!!"
FFS - it's natural, it's what this planet DOES! And it's only going to get worse, it's a 26,000 year cycle, been going on for billions of years, and will continue for billions long after we've all become worm turds, then dust.
But - OMG! GLOBAL WARMING!! CLIMATE CHANGE!!! WE MUST GO GREEN AND STOP USING FOSSIL FUELS!!!!
Bah, buncha stupid fucks.....
