If y'all remember our wonderful former Governor, J Hickenlooper signed us into CARB emissions regulations which really tightens up auto emissions.
Thanks for that.
Well now the EPA has listed front range counties as "Severe" when it comes to pollution which opens our state to an entire new level of fuckery.
Enjoy even tighter restrictions on wood burning, auto and business emissions.
Lets not forget "reblended fuel" intended to cut emissions but oh wait, it costs an additional 10-15%.
The really odd thing is the news listed the forest fires of the last couple of years as major causes of pollution.
So the EPA has a hard on for forest fires too.
How long until they ban sales of Engine powered equipment?

Not surprising, what a peice of shit.
Despite the studies proving corn based Ethanol is WORSE for "climate change" than other forms of biofuels, including liquid dinosaurs, these fuktards want to use higher amounts to "cut" emissions. SMH.
Higher concentrations of this engine fuel systems killer fluid are also being pushed to "ease the prices" of gasoline.

Wait a minute...
"Biden was announcing that the Environmental Protection Agency will issue an emergency waiver to allow widespread sale of a 15% ethanol blend that is usually prohibited between June 1 and Sept. 15 because of concerns that it adds to smog in high temperatures."
The EPA says pollution levels are too high yet they change rules to allow the sale of fuel that pollutes more.
I'm not sure if anyone has ever said this before but I am going to go out on a limb and say the federal government is full of baloney.

They could give Suncor the boot, and the several smelters....or punish the working classes. I wonder which they will do.

Obviously the only real solution to this is raising fees and taxes

It's coming. CA already has. DC has too. Colorado Dems proposed it but Polis asked them to drop it (cause he wants to appear moderate of course). It'll be back

The state is introducing new regulations to reduce emissions all of the time. They are reducing limits for NOX emissions statewide. Big industries are going to be spending a ton of money upgrading their equipment to meet these new limits. Obviously, these costs are going to be passed along to the people. Be prepared to see higher bills at your house for things like electricity and natural gas. I?m sure with inflation higher than it?s been in over forty years spending more every month for utilities probably isn?t a big deal for most folks.

Sure, no problem. After spending $70 for less than half a tank of diesel this morning, I can absolutely afford to pay more for my utilities. Our fuel is double, why shouldn't utilities be included in the fun?
Plus, they're going to jack the price of your electricity right at the times of day you need it most. Hope you like cooking dinner at 9pm.

I guess we should count our blessings because they haven?t started random electric blackouts. Yet.

I wonder if that piece of news has anything to do with THIS piece of news..
The Colorado DMV just revoked all the titles for AM General Hummers and reissued "off road only" titles.
No distinction between civilian H1's and the ex-military models.
Article in the Denver Gazette indicates the DMV will change the titles on all other military vehicles in phase 2.

I wonder what class/group of vehicles will be eliminated from our roads next?
Classic cars? Muscle cars? everything made before some emission standard was put into place?

Wait, what? So one minute you have a legal on road vehicle and the next you don't? Damn.
That's how they get us to all move to EV's. Don't just ban the sale of petroleum fuel vehicles and wait us out, ban the use of them altogether.

It just took a revision of a current statute:
https://dmv.colorado.gov/military-vehicles
It starts with a small group, you just keep ruling the vehicles with internal combustion engines off the road...

What the holy fuck?
That is seriously just plain wrong. These fuckers change the rules in the middle of the game?
I would call that a prime example of “Arbitrary and Capricious”.
I regret that I proudly represented this state for 24 years.
I need to renew the plates on my travel trailer to the tune of $300+.
Fuck you Colorado, State of. I will pull my trailer where I want and if I get a $100.00 expired plate ticket, so what? I’m still $200.00 ahead.
Something Something bulldozer something Grandby.

This is a good reminder why I left, but still so upsetting. I can't believe what Colorado has turned into
So, Texas will be getting even more revenue from registrations from people.who see texas once a year. Escapees to the rescue...
