I'm up at my Mom's for the holidays about 30 miles east of Sidney, NE. With wind chill, it was -17 at her house this morning when we got up. It's still snowing and blowing like mad. Hope it quits soon. I want to try to do a Cabela's run tomorrow (like an all day run).
that's what ya get fer going to Neebraski..
Have a Merry and Cabelas will love you.

Just went out to move my truck. Winds way over 40 mph. It's insane outside.
I've been going to Cabelas since it was a tiny shop in Chappell, long before the brothers became rich and shameless.

The guy who works with me was going to go back to spend Christmas with his dad and other family in some little burg near Kearney, I believe. He opted to spend Christmas in Vegas instead. I'm thinking he made a good choice!

ya, we had about 8" of the "global warming conspiracy" up here.... [Flower]
I heard that Oklahoma got hit with 16" (their new record for most snow in one day) and there were several 40-50 car pileups on the different interstates. I haven't verified that though.

Haven't you heard yet? It's now called Global Climate Change. That way they don't have to prove any pesky little warming facts.

If I have to move another shovelful of that heavy "global warming", er..."global climate change", I think I'll pop.
My family is just East and South of Kansas City (the real one in Missouri, not Kansas). The word I got from them yesterday is that K.C. was in a Blizzard Warning. That's somewhat unheard of in K.C. Glad I don't live THERE any more!
SAFriday - it's probably too late now as you are probably at Cabela's as I type this, but if you run across any great deals, pick some up for me too!
