Why are there elections outside of the November ballots? I have a South metro fire ballot for office. Nothing else.
Why can't they consolidate all ballots and elections to once per year? Far more efficient to mail 1 ballot per year than multiple ballots. These off cycle ballots I bet are mostly ignored and tossed. At least if it was on the yearly ballot, you could vote for what your cared about and it would not cost the guberment extra printing & mailing costs.
I can see these off cycle ballots used to pass tax when no one is paying much attention and those for it make sure to vote.
