View Full Version : Need a licensed plumber for a quick job
Bad news: Gas valve on my water heater shit the bed.
Good news: they're sending the part under warranty.
Bad news: The wife doesn't think I should do the replacement since there's natural gas involved, wants a licensed plumber to do the job.
If you are a licensed plumber and feel like making a few bucks on a cash side job, or know someone who is, and does, please drop a PM.
Thanks, Jim

What Dave said, pretty easy. One tip - use a backup wrench when taking it apart and when putting it back together.
My son had a plumber replace his wax ring on his toilet - $230, ouch.
Use yellow gas Teflon tape.
Yeah, I'm confident I could do the job in about 20 minutes, but the wife...[mop]

Fer Pete’s sake…
Somebody needs to tell their woman that her hot air is gonna be far, far more hazardous to her health than a little leaking natural gas….
Keep yo pimp hand strong TFOGGER.
If she agrees we can FaceTime. I’ll supervise Colo Master for 35 yrs. Oh & no charge.

She's usually armed, so best to not annoy her [LOL]

For the rzr, or the plumbing? Because we're gonna need both

What's up with the Rzr now?

Misfire until it warms up. Haven't even looked at it. I've only driven it once in a year. I just want out at this point, we won't have room to store it when we move.
