View Full Version : Sniper training at Folsom Field
10 agencies from Colorado and other entities spent day 2 at Folsom live fire training from all around the stadium. Tacflow Academy out of Dallas is the training company. Obviously word had been spread and no one panicked today lol. It was fun hearing the difference between the majority of suppressed and a few without. These photos show the 100 yard cold shot to verify on target then they fired a few more to dial in. After that they moved to various locations/levels. Bullet catchers/traps were set up.

Amazing that the University and the city allowed that.

I know! CUPD is the hosting agency.
Good on CUPD for getting that approved! Looks fun!
I have to imagine that if the students there knew about this............ a protest would break out.
Good for them having the #$% to host the training.

I am shocked that actually occurred.
There are plenty of non-stadium buildings that some leather elbow-patch could see into the complex and get worked into a tizzy.

Yep--nothing a lib likes more than a police force under his control. how else are they going to enforce that assault weapons ban?
It warms my heart, and would for my old friend and martial arts teacher who led the CUPD a few decades ago. An SOF and former Boulder PD officer, we shot and trained students and LEOs at the early Boulder Rifle Club range. But sniper training at Folsom Stadium? That takes the cake!
Thanks for the post and pics, Doc45. Awesome!
Word must not have spread too far. I?m an engineer in planning and construction with Folsom part of my responsibilities and this is the first I?ve heard. That is so cool that CUPD was able to do this. There is a very short window between spring commencement and Maymester, where there are relatively no students on campus, that this could be done without hysteria.

This should ba a halftime show during a football game.
A real thank you for your service moment, showing the little hippie fools how hard men work hard to keep them safe.
Awesome! I’m glad the CUPD is training for the real world.

I am still not sure how some grad students in the Duane/Gamov towers couldn't see directly what was going on.
