I have a question i need help about. I call a local firearms dealer today not calling them out. (Firing line) and ask what do i need to do to buy a gun from a priviet seller, and what he told me was that all i had to do was go give him the money and all he has to do is give me the gun. I thought that all of our guns are resgrister to CBI, he told me that in colorado you dont have to resgrister you guns, so i ask him what the S N on the guns are for and he told me they are for, to know what store you bought it from. I was confuise. Will my friend today call the Sheriffs' today and he told him that we had to go to CBI and get his name off the gun and tranfer it to my name. Who is wright? What are the process of buying a gun or rifle from a privite seller? I'm good to get a gun, CBI approve me for like 3 guns in this year. Please help.

All you have to do in a FTF is......
1. Be legal to own a firearm
2. Hand money to seller
3. Take firearm from sellar
4. Show CO DL
5. Go about your business with a new to you firearm
Sheriffs dpet was 100% wrong.
NEVER RELY ON THE POLICE OR SHERIFFS STATION FOR GUN LAW KNOWLEDGE.

I think what OP is trying to say is that he passed background check "like" 3 times this year (bought 3 guns via FFL)....

Thanks Dr. Maybe so.
Perhaps he will clarify.
funkfool nailed it.
like ya no. [ROFL1]
After trying to figure out what words he was trying to spell, then trying to decipher what he was saying. Knowing that there ARE states/cities that DO have a requirement for everyone to be pre-approved for a "certain number" of guns per year (Colorado NOT being one of those) I may have read that wrong. Obviously not a requisite, but I would still like to see the answer to the questions.

I guessing based on your spelling that you're not even a legal alien in this country, so I wouldn't even sell a gun to you.
Ok, I'm spooked.
First thread, curious about scopes/red dots.
Second thread, wants "green tips".
Third thread concerned about legalities.
Has horrendous spelling, punctuation, grammatical mistakes and miserable sentence structure.
Sounds like another Eric Harris.
I aint telling you shit. Sorry.

Sorry, have to agree with Tristan. For Pete's sake, is it really that difficult to structure a proper sentance and spelling?
