In case you didn't see this story--it emphasizes the need for constant vigilance while carrying. Thankfully this ended with the victims unhurt.

Highlands Ranch has no weapons signs at a the trail heads...

Denver's Daniel's Park in Douglas county has concealed carry banned recently. But Denver has zero authority to enforce Denver laws outside of Denver. Same for all their mountain parks. If local LE don't/won't enforce, Denver can pound sand.

True. And interestingly enough, the suspect has also been charged with violation of a restraining order. Without further details, it sounds like this couple had a restraining order against this suspect. 73 yrs old and pulling this cr@p. Maybe his SS isn't enough and he was looking for 3 hots and a cot for the rest of his life.
