UPS has cancelled the accounts of several firearm businesses.

It looks like they are stopping ground but will still ship air. Less time on the truck means less liability and less opportunity to get stolen.

The accounts the are canceling are "ghost guns", which become illegal this month. One article mentions Brownell's but I don't see anything on their website.

However, I can foresee government pressure to raise prices, install special handling fees or outright refusing to ship like FedEx.

I am sure the federal government ships a lot of things with UPS. Threats to cancel those could be used as leverage.

I remember years ago the first time I shipped a gun via UPS. They said "the outside of the package cannot indicate there's a gun inside."

So basically, they start with the assumption that their own employees are thieves.
