One of the best Top Gear challenge episodes evah!
They drop the boys off in the Amazon with 3 4x4s they bought off the Bolivian AutoTrader and they have to drive 1000mi to the coast.
Download .avi file via BitTorrent: http://eztv.it/ep/18108/top-gear-14x06-hdtv-xvid-fov/
Or just watch it on streaming video here (http://www.theospark.net/2009/12/video-top-gear-in-south-america.html)
God I wish I could have one of these guy's job.
Saw the Polar Special (where they drive to the north pole) last night and was very impressed. I love that show. I miss being able to watch it, but we turned our cable service down to basic...

likewise
they were definately ignorant, and thought it a joke when being taught cold weather survival by that "SAS" guy.
later in the show (SPOILER ALERT) they even said "perhaps we should have taken seriously the lessons regarding cold weather survival" lucky for them they had back up's covering their ass.
Best car show in TV hand down.
They are hilarious. If you've never seen it you have to see the episode where they drive from Miami to New Orleans!

That's why I download torrents of the show (and others), we don't get BBC America on our cable either.

Indeed their show is good, but they piss me off every now and then with their snide anti-American comments.

That's a very British thing (and when they bag on American cars I'm usually 100% in agreement with them).
The big irony is that when Jeremy Clarkson opens his mouth and waxes politically he espouses many VERY Conservative/American ideals ... he's anti-nanny state and pro-capitalist and pro-individualist. Sorry Jeremy but those haven't been British beliefs for the best part of the last century (Churchill and Thatcher administrations notwithstanding).
They bag on the French, Italians, Germans and Welsh a lot as well so their occasional anti-Americanism doesn't bother me.

They're all very anti-British politics. Especially when it comes to cars. They just make fun of America because its funny. And usually its true, especially about cars. But their American car special all had them changing their minds, at least about the ZR1 and CTS-V.
And yeah, they bag on other Brits WAY more than Americans. Especially Northerners. [ROFL2]

Good point DeusEx ... Clarkson has a habit of coming home with a new car when he visits the states ... both the ZR1 and the Ford GT.
One of my fave episodes

However we all know that in reality all (English) Southerners are limp wristed soft shandy drinkers! [Muaha]

Best show on TV anymore I think. And the anti-Americanism usually consists of calling us fat. {looking for my feet} They might be on to something...
But they're very pro-military and anti-nanny state, and I'd buy 'em a beer if they came through here. So they're good in my book!

All I know is I'd love to see any one of them, or all three, shoot guns.

Should be a great call. I got my wife for Christmas a car sticker that says "I am the Stig" and the Big Book of Top Gear 2009. She loves the show even more than I do.
