Their fries are not good. The burgers are on the better end of the fast food spectrum provided they do not overdo the toasting of the bun.

Since you're in the CS area, if you want excellent food - including fries - go to King's Chef - the one on Costilla. Hash browns are excellent, too.

Up North, Briar Mart on Academy just south of Woodmen has excellent fries as long as he doesn't run out and substitute crinkle fries.

Because they pretty much use fresh cut potatoes; and from what I have seen the fresh potatoes for the last few months (or more) suck -

Their fries suck and the burgers are nothing special, not sure what all the fuss is about. We ate at a Shake Shack for the first time last week and the burger was actually pretty good. Need to try a milk shake next time.

I contacted there customer service and explained the visit and the poor quality of the fries and how disappointed I was with the visit. They responded rather quickly with some follow up questions and apologized etc.
They are sending me five gift cards or coupons for future free meals.
I will pass when I get them but my son has already called dibs on them when they arrive!!
I will update if anything comes of it. Them shutting down all CO locations! You know, some justice. KIDDING!!
They just won’t be on my list of must haves.

We have one down here and it ain't all that horrible. Certainly no damn worse than a McDonalds or BurgerQueen.

I think their food is pretty good, fries need to be eaten fresh, can feed the family there cheaper than McDonalds or most of the other fast food joints.

Most people either love or hate the fries. They are fresh, not frozen, and not treated at all so most people are not used to that type of fry. They are better eaten when hot right when you get your order.
