I picked up some sort of summer cold, sneezing w/stuffy sinus. No throat/ear/chest complications. It seemed to peak within a day and now it's subsiding.
Is this going around or am I just a sicky?

About two months ago both me and my wife had a bad cold, not unlike the one you are describing.
Negative test.
Went away in about a week...
Wife and I currently have something similar. Kind of an odd time of the year to be sick. Ours is mostly in the sinuses but we both have fevers and are achy.
Just got back from a trip to southeast Texas so maybe we contracted covid. Who knows.

About two months ago I had a "spring flu," which apparently was going around at the time. You might just be late to the party!

wife has the summer cold. Turns out it's Covid. Seems everyone I know or meet with the summer cold has tested positive for covid.

Sounds like monkeypox.
Definitely monkeypox [panic]

I came back from the NRA membership meeting in Houston [end of May] with a cold. Mildest cold I've ever had. Turned out it was COVID.
If you're interested, test. If not you'll be fine in no more than two weeks.

It's probably covid, I had/tested positive for it after Mothers Day weekend.

Each person gets 8, so get them for each member of your family

These are exactly the same symptoms I had a week and a half ago, just before I tested for COVID...and was a POSITIVE.

Thanks for posting that. My daughter ordered some for both my wife and I on Sunday, July 3rd. They were in my mailbox by Thursday.

Unless you are living in a cave and not coming out, everyone will have gotten COVID by the end of the year. The current variants are too contagious and not impactful enough to make people isolate (which is a good thing).

I think I got that cold virus from a ER visit a few weeks ago. Just came out the ER tonight, I have some kind of stomach virus. Can't eat, woke up puking this AM. I am suspecting norovirus. Never had this before.

I got some home tests, thanks for all the good info!
Stomach bugs are the worst.

Also call your local library. Some of the PPLD libraries have free test kits, that's where I got mine.
