Based on your actual experience in recent months, who has good transfer fee rates for incoming shipments in the metro area?

All of them are over $10 so the answer is none of them.

I think the OP was referring to ordering a firearm online and having it shipped to a local FFL.

The $10 fee cap I believe only covers the actual background check there isn't any text that regulates whether an FFL can charge additional fees for having to cover their time dealing with the paperwork involving the transfer.

The $10 fee cap I believe only covers the actual background check there isn't any text that regulates whether an FFL can charge additional fees for having to cover their time dealing with the paperwork involving the transfer.My legal understanding of the law (which is worthless) is that the $10 is "for services rendered" and would take ~1/2hr of a gunshop employees time (figuring them making $20/hr) then add the ever fluctuating CBI BGC fee.
But as the rest of you that are not FFLs, I pay what I told to pay.
