Examples of high-end finishes = Diamondkote, Melonite, CeraKote, etc.

gun smoke dose some good custom work. they have a 1911 with the slide ingrave with gold. i dont know how munch they charge but i was in there the other day and ask them how munch would it be to polish my glock slide and he told me $400, that was a lil to munch for me. but you could call them and ask. it dont hurt to ask

IMHO $400 is a lot of $$$ for just a slide! I can almost buy a used Glock for that much.
