Bull-pup or AR-platform style?
I am itching to find a nice, reliable semi-auto...

Pretty much all semi bullpup/AR15 style shotties are turkish ones. Great for 500 rounds then many swart to have issues.

If you want a bullpup at least that's more reliable, though bulky heavy etc. The Tavor TS12 isn't completely awful.

well, I have always liked their 1911 - and they did a good job when they owned Dan and Wesson

https://fusionfirearms.com/liberty-series-hammerhead.

If they sold a 20 ga version today - I would pick one up for "fun".

But yea, I would even go for the goblin version first -

i have seen zero reviews - it just looks cool to me.

Most of them need a round that's at least 1300 fps, people try lower rated ones with varying results.
Black Aces sells a 12 ga slug rated @ 1600 fps.

I work a range down here and see a lot of them.
Since you asked about "Reliable"
IMO . Unless you have a round that's 1300 fps and lots of them. Don't bother with the AR style guns.
OR read up on them, see what "aftermarket upgrades & tweaks" are available. Before buying one. NOT saying they're all like that, just see lots not function 100%

For the money, i'd buy a 1301 beretta, or the new mossberg 940. Or a benelli ;)

Sure the AR shotguns look cool. Would i go with one, over the usual style semi-autos? no.

Great-Kazoo: Thanks for the input... appreciate you sharing what you witness on the range.
I have been reading up on the reliability of the AR style platforms and cycling issues seem to be the primary complaint. I do have a good sized amount of the Black Aces 00 2 & 3/4" @ 1425 fps... but I have more of the 1200ish fps loads - so....
That Mossberg 940 JM Pro has my attention...

It's a real nice shotty. I'm moderately heavy shotgun wise, as many auto loaders as pump actions. Have a few vang comp 12 & 20 ga units in pump action. It's too bad the benelli and beretta's are chrome lined or i would have had those done, too.

Which makes the 940, or 1301 a possible addition to the safe.

I have a friend with a 930. That thing is dumb (on the level that I love it)

My Turkish gun is OK

I'm finding both of these to not be super easy to find in stock. Seems like everybody is looking for them.

I won one in a drawing back in February. 92257

It's one of the Turkish ones. G-Force Arms GF-12.

I haven't shot it. I'm not much of a shotgun guy, really.

I was automatically entered into the drawing, if I'd had to pay to enter a raffle, I never would have entered it.

It's interesting but not something I'd ever spend money on myself.

I know this is an older thread, but if you want a quality ar shotgun. Look at genesis arms ,gen 12. Or the origin 12 by fostech.
