I hate the media version 25.2

So we have a failed terrorist attack on an international flight on Christmas day, and all I hear about from the media is about airport security measures.

Not ONCE have I heard any positive praise for the people on the plane that got their butts out of their seats and selflessly saved the lives of 300+ people. Where were those worthless TSA employees then? I believe that when pushed into a corner, there are still plenty of people in America who are willing to act in an appropriate manner and get done what needs to be done. Personally, I'm surprised that he only went to the hospital for the burns on his leg. People on that flight would have a hard time getting me not to strangle him to death or break all his joints if I was the one to get to him first. <--That's no internet inflated bravado either. I think I would have completely lost my temper.

So what the hell? Has anyone heard any praise for these people at all?

That's just par for the course with the media.

Isn't there some way to open one of the doors on those airplanes when you're around 10,000 feet or so. I say throw his sorry ass outta the plane if that's possible.

1 - I think "Media" is being generous. The only real media I've seen lately is Fox. The rest are the Socialist Propaganda Machine, and I'm sure they'd make Goebbels proud.

2 - I'm sure we won't see any praise for those folks. They certainly should be getting it, but I'm also sure that Obama & Co. doesn't want to encourage that. After all, if they did it would be encouraging the sheep, not to be sheep. And they don't want that. They'd like all of us bleating helplessly.

3 - I think they should have removed this joker from the plane, C-4 undershorts intact, and then taken them (and him) and detonated everything....just to be safe.

What jury would convict you? Wouldnt that qualify as self defense?

I don't think Fox is any less ridiculous than any other news source. I also don't think that guy should have his balls licked for the rest of his life or anything either. What he did, is what I would expect ANYONE to do. He should feel good about himself for doing what needs to be done, but he hasn't had any recognition at all. The guy that got his arm trapped under a boulder and saw'd his whole damn arm off with a pocket knife got to go on talk shows and stuff and this guy doesn't even get a nod of the head or tip of the hat?

I'm not saying Fox is above reproach, but they are better than the others. And I don't think he's a hero in perpetuity, but he should be recognized properly! How many on that flight could have helped, and didn't? But should've? They'll probably all get interviewed so they can armchair quarterback the whole thing, while the guy who did the right thing will probably be ignored.

Erm yeah, plenty. The guy has actually started demanding money for interviews; from the sound of things he is starting to get tired of all the media attention and is trying to enjoy his holiday in Miami. I don't blame him, I can only imagine how much, well, you know, he's getting down there right now :D
