While down here for National Night out. There's at least 3 booths promoting their gun business, last year there were 5, but 1 moved out of state. 1 booth had an eclectic collection of Select fire and full auto guns, from various times in history.

Just a hunch that similar attitudes to what was expressed in the 9news story are readily available in Phoenix and Tuscon. [Flower]

You definitely have some of those attitudes in SW MO, but it's kind of funny, even people that are middle of the road or left of center are gun people, and it's a weird thing I haven't really experienced before. I was having a polite conversation with a person I regularly see at my job and have known for over a year now and I know he's left. I never bring up guns or politics because I try to keep the conversation polite. He's the one that said, "Man we should go to the range sometime." So we started talking guns and he has several "evil" ones that the left doesn't like specifically.

Follow the money.
Where did this obscure group with no online presence get the funds to put up a billboard?
Another question. If I were to put up a billboard extolling the wholesome virtues of youth sport shooting, would television news cover it?

Of course. The anti-gun group would need the sign to show the news how you're promoting gun violence

Without a doubt. Fortunately the state gun rights org AZCDL. Is on it when it comes to potential laws, state, or local. We're still progressing, gun rights wise. While CO is regressing. Open carry even in tucson, or the valley, is not a swat team event.
