The old TV commercials were funny.

I stopped by there once in the early '00s when looking for a new used vehicle. I thought the pricing seemed pretty high, probably paying for the advertising.

The lot used to be full of cars, but definitely low inventory for the past few years.

I thought they already closed. Last time I drove past the lot it looked pretty barren.

My thoughts as well.

I stopped once to look at a Tacoma. The sales vulture would not leave me alone and kept trying to get me to drive a Ranger.

I ran away as fast as I could and took a shower.

Probably a good idea though.

That land will generate a lot more revenue as apartments than they ever made selling minivans with crankcases full of sawdust.

Front page of the Denver Post
One last hurrah - Shagman is looking for a job and got to ask in the article.
Publicity to the end.

Rocky?s Autos is recognized widely by Coloradans for its commercials starring Ron Vigil, Audra Borden and Odell Stroud.
Vigil broke the news on Facebook on Tuesday, writing, ?Rocky?s Autos has closed down.?
The actor played the character ?Shagman? ? a descriptor for ?automotive sanitational engineers specializing in vehicular cosmetic enhancement,? according to a 1996 commercial.
?It was an honor and distinct privilege to work for an independent corporation with creative standards truly outside the norm, and I?d like to think I was a big part of it. ? Now, does anybody have a job for me??
