What, no thread about those assholes cheating in that fishing tournament? That was bizarre, can't imagine they thought they'd get away with it. Rest of 'em wanted to lynch the fuckers.

Video of the incident. What made me laugh was the guy in the background “call the cops!!” Lol.

That's hilarious!

Thanks for some perspective for my day. I'll keep this video in mind while I sit in meetings all day and listen to pretentious assholes tell me what we're doing wrong..

This has been making the rounds.. I'd imagine that theft by deception or some sort of fraud charges are likely.

They have been winning in the tournaments, I suspect ALL of their winnings are now in question and will have to be returned. With cash prizes, that's absolutely a criminal offense.

I'm quite amazed they didn't catch an ass woopin'.

This article states they almost got a beating. It also says they were escorted from the area by police. This is a really rough area of Cleveland.

cheaters going to cheat. No matter what the contest is, from professional football to fishing they'll find a way.

Cheat a little, win a little.
Cheat a lot, get caught.

This follow-up video goes into detail on how they were caught.
For those not interested enough to listen to an hour long podcast, it boils down to the guy doing the weigh-in knows about what 4-5lb walleye look like. When a 4-5lb walleye comes in over 8 it was a red-flag. He expected a 20lb total from this guy and saw 35lbs on the scale. Just a guy doing his job properly.

So they tried to almost double the weight? Why cheat a little when you can cheat a lot...That'd be obvious to anyone.

That's probably the most excitement to happen in professional fishing. Ever.

Tomorrow's news will be about corked bowling balls found at the big PBA event.

They probably brought home "another woman" at 4:54PM and we're "surprised" they got caught again.

Either they think the world is entirely made up of sheer idiots, or they spank it to the idea of others seeing their hands in the cookie jar. Not sure.

"Felony charges of cheating, attempted grand theft, possessing criminal tools, and misdemeanor charges of unlawfully owning wild animals"

Oops

They might be able to add charges like, violating a fish corpse....
