"Data provided by the CPRC (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/10/massive-errors-in-fbis-active-shooting-reports-regarding-cases-where-civilians-stop-attacks-instead-of-4-4-the-correct-number-is-at-least-34-4-in-2021-it-is-at-least-49-1-excluding-gun-free-zon/) shows that 34.4% of active shootings were thwarted by a good guy with a gun between 2014-2021. The FBI, however, only lists 4.4% of active shootings as having been thwarted by an armed citizen during the same time frame. "
"the FBI database of active shooters cannot be trusted? and that the FBI?s underreporting could be the result of ?bias or just incompetence."
"What is particularly troubling is the unwillingness of the FBI and the media to correct these omissions when informed about them," the report states.
