The Scam

The website seems legit but it is fraudulent! Beware!!! Everything appears okay at first. But there are signs. You can only contact them via chat and they offer a 10% discount to use Zelle. They probably won?t accept cards. They will provide a name and email to use for Zelle payment. After payment, you will receive a fake tracking number and a link for more info to https://marathonpostalannex.com (https://marathonpostalannex.com/).

Marathon Postal Annex (MPA) then emails the notice below demanding payment for a ?Diplomatic and Customs? stamp to release the order for deliver. Again, they only use chat.
If you call Maximus, you may get a call back from someone identifying themselves as the Sales Director Christopher Paluch. He will tell you to contact MPA. He will try to stall the process and say he will get back to you. You won?t hear back.

Here is the notice about the fake order.

It goes without saying that any website that only accepts digital forms of payment are scams.

This sound familiar. I think it was on this site a few years ago for the same thing.

Anyway,

I just went to the site. Whoever built the site doesn't use English every day. It's close but slightly off.

I put some Starline 450 Bushmaster in my cart and tried to checkout. That is when I noticed that there is a $200 minimum order.

Then I found they can't take my credit card-

"The card processing system currently facing an issue and is under maintenance please go with an alternative method of payment. we are sorry for the inconvenience we are working hard to make your experience enjoyable always."

They take Zelle, Paypal and Venmo.

"Vision
Our desired future state
To be the best-run business in America, and the most successful,
most respected business in our industry, for the benefit of our
Customers."

Amen, brother. Best of luck.
