Sounds like Frontier, as the range is in Hanover but I dunno.

The suspects have been identified but are not in custody and EPCSO is investigating the incident to determine if charges will be brought up.
Charged with what?

Sounds like it was on a private range. Frontier Hanover range is on the east side of I25

Never underestimate Cleetus McStupid's ability to set the area on fire while using firearms...
Dry and windy, no problem. Let shoot:
Steel component rifle projectiles (jackets and/or cores) onto hardend plates and rocks.
Tracers
Tannerite or other energetic targets (gas cans, propane tanks)
Dragons Breath
Whatever else their walnut brain can come up with.

More outstanding media coverage for firearms ownership.
Yay guns!

There is an area that is behind the raceway and the border of Fort Carson that people go to shoot.
It is not bad if you just want to go out and zero or test fire in a pinch.
Not the first time that range has started a fire.
