I don't think I have gone this late before buying Christmas gifts. Normally I have some hobby or interest, that I thrust on the recipients.

This year, I am at a total loss.

I tried Microcenter online today, nothing caught my interest.

Does anyone have some good ideas for late Christmas gifts?

I have two brothers, several niece and nieces, an Aunt (or two) to buy for.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Gift cards. Allows them to buy what they want.

I was thinking that maybe a bullet, and a ticket to go to the range, would be good?

Most of my nieces will probably go "Ew" but that is half the point. :)

But it is also self serving, as of course I would like to go to the range. So I don't know.

The range is also relatively expensive, now a days.

But I still think this may be the best thing I can do on short notice?

For sure an option.

But I will probably do cash instead as I am looking to spend less electronically.

Thanks, Kazoo!

One of the things I have done for my parents for the last few years is order a fancy pre-cooked dinner from their local grocery store, along with a gift card, and have it delivered. People always got to eat.

Food is always good, but I find it hard to plan for. I'm not sure whom will be home for christmas, or not.

Thanks, JohnnyEgo!

It would be really special if I could give them a fancy, pre-cooked dinner. They have fed me so often.

Hmmm. Thanks, JohnnyEgo.

Mmmm, steaks. :)

But, forgive me if I am wrong, but it is always Omaha Steak, baskets! $100 Steak Baskets, times, a bunch of nieces and nephews...

But I am with you! :)

I could do "a steak basket," special dinner, per you and Johnny Ego.

Thanks.

Always done the minimalist thing - wife, stepkids and grandson. Brothers and their families, no. That's something that can get way outta hand and unneccessary real quick-like.

My favorite gift is cash in an envelope??and to be left alone the next day.

Whenever anyone asks what I want I always just ask for one day with peace and quiet. Still haven?t gotten it yet.

It's all the family I have left, besides my mother's sister. Just sent her a gift via Amazon, we'll see if it actually makes it.

Thanks all for the suggestions!
