Dang, I was just in contact with Oliver to refinish a gun of mine. Now I don't know what to do.

I have to say the response (linked to by USMC88-93) sounds a little less dramatic, a little more reasonable and a lot more believable.

But, who knows?

Their stuff looks really nice!

I would have to say that Oliver's response is much more calm and professional. Seems the other guy has personal issues that maybe should not be brought to public if indeed their issues are just between the two. I haven't dealt with this company personally but have checked them out and it seems they have some cool stuff. I really wouldn't hesitate doing business with them unless I was spending several thousands of dollars! Anyway that's my .02!

sucks for them. I always thought most of their stuff was overpriced so no tears here for either of them.

+1 - I think someone needs to take a Valium, lie down, and speak with a professional therapist. [Rant2]

I like to keep business local whenever possible but when I called to get a quote on some SBR engraving and some other things Oliver was downright rude to me and quoted an obscenely high price to do some basic work plus parts. I thought no big deal, the guy is so busy he doesn't have time for my little requests but perhaps business wasn't as good as I assumed. He still could have been a little more polite. I decided after that interaction I wouldn't buy anything from Iron Ridge even if they were local.

This is just my personal opinion.

Person who got ripped off- Unhappy , angry, and felt cheated.
Person who rip someone off- calm and professional, because he is the one who has the money $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
