Do you attend and what is your favorite events?

Our family has been participating and attending for over 50 years and hope to get some of the grandkids involved over the next few years.

We enjoy attending the rodeo, draft horse and reining horse competitions but livestock showing and Junior Livestock Champions auction is my choice.

My family has been supporting with four generations of attendance since the mid-1950's. For some reason, one of my early Shock Show memories in the 80's was watching my Grandpa in his Stetson climbing the big inside staircase from the Coliseum parking lot to the main level. We have never had any animals here in Colorado, other than my daughter's recent 4H rental stock held on other people's properties, just a long-standing appreciation of agriculture based on the old family farms in Kansas. Anything at our house now would just get killed by the cats.

I went once as a teenager. Back then having a pair of boots and a hat was important.

Haven't been since, as I am not in the animal trade.
