Was a nuisance lion near Grant Co and got it with a bow and supposedly without using dogs.. That's quite a feat if true. The guy in the pic is 6'5".

That is an outstanding specimen! I have only seen a couple that would rival it here locally over the years. Once they get accustomed to pets as a food source, it's time for them to go, otherwise a kid is next on the menu. They are a great reason why JSPs exist for handguns.

Predictably, the Leftists are calling him a coward and a murderer.

Mountain lions are spooky, and the only benefit they provide is reducing deer overpopulation... they do far more harm than good and actually hunt and kill hikers.

That one is huge. I wouldn't go after that with a bow.

Probably was an old and sick cat. It couldn't take a deer or rabbit anymore. It had to prey on domestic animals to eat.

No one has noted the guy's name is Wolfe.

More proof dogs are better than cats.

that is one big PRIME cat.
My best friend shot a lion several years ago. His weighed in at 205#. This cat looks larger than my buddies cat. I'd like to hear what it weighed in at.

It's definitely "old", but not sure about "sick"- the body tone is still too good to have been experiencing extensive issues. One of the cats we had in our driveway a few years ago was definitely sick, with ribs showing. After it was captured, it turned out to have a large abdominal tumor.

Most mountain lions are infected with some pathogen. Kind of crazy to kill a wild animal and then pose with it in the fashion shown. I see a lot of wildlife in my area that has died from either a virus or a bacteria. Ever see fields that are literally littered with dead deer? It is from Chronic Wasting Disease. Link below has research done on California mountain lions. The ability of your immune system may vary...

Fields of dead deer is not due to CWD, there has been a hemoragic disease that has gone through some deer populations over the last few years but even that hasn't left firelds of dead deer.

Cats can carry trichinosis, same as hogs and bears. Cats can also carry toxoplasmosis which is a crazy disease though toxoplasmosis usually is passed to humans via house cats.

As far as posing with the results of a successful hunt goes.. I'm guessing we should all hide any photos of us posing with our guns lest we offend someone?

The deer I am referring to were in 1996 up by Rangely. I am not offended, but concerned of a zoonosis. I am on my third infection of COVID19 and have had five vaccinations.

The truth is we don't know SHIT about virology. This is a science that you can compare to cataloging all the stars in the universe. It may well be impossible.

Kind of crazy to kill a wild animal and then pose with it in the fashion shown. That is how most guys pose with big cats. The likelihood of some disease spreading to a human due to posing in that way are extremely minimal, as in, nothing to be worried about.

You are getting and staying sick because you keep getting the pokes and jabs. If you keep killing off your immune system you will die sooner rather than later. Being a germaphobe has probably led to more sickness than not. Posing with a freshly killed animal is not going to kill you or get you sick. Stop looking to doctors and scientists for cures, most are quacks and hacks. Live and eat clean, get sunshine, exercise, and cut out your daily intake of junk food and soda, drink clean filtered water. I will send you your free medical advice bill in the mail, just cover the stamp.

Hilarious! I keep getting the COVID19 virus for several reasons. I have a sinus wound that won't heal due to beryllium exposure and volatile climate changes here in Colorado. But, yeah go hug every kill you make in the wild. Hell go to China and eat bat soup too. I'll stick with my STEM education and leave you guys to it.

If your STEM de-education convinced you to get the clot shot?you might look into student loan forgiveness/ask for a refund.

Huh, I work commercial construction and we never shut down during the lock downs, we went in to 7 days a week overtime mode. No one wore masks unless.the signal went up that a Denver building inspector had pulled in to the site and cleanliness on job sites is essentially equall to the portajons on site.

Never got covid through all of it, never got the jab.

And as far as Chronic wasting disease, did you know that it has yet been found to spread from deer to human. So again, no worries there.

This has been a well established fact for years. One just needs to look to Boulder to see the chronically wasted.
