My current clear lens glasses are scratched up enough I have been looking for new ones.
There are several out there that have interchangeable lenses. I have never shot with a yellow lens.
I'll probably buy them- $25 is not too expensive for an experiment.
What are the advantages or disadvantages in yellow glasses? What lens color do you use most?

Here is a quick overview on the common tints used in glasses:

I just stick with smoke or clear myself. But the other colors can enhance contrast with the target.

I use a brown or occassionally an amber, helps with depth perception both shooting and fishing.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim.
If shooting irons, I always recommend clear if you can tolerate the sunlight [if outdoors]
Clear lenses let through the maximum amount of light, which constricts your pupils as much as possible. The smaller your pupils are, the greater depth of field you have, enabling you to get a clearer sight picture.

For glasses I like yellows and for goggles I like clear.

I've used yellow for the last 10 years seems to enhance everything for me. At work I use clear safety glasses.
I think it depends what your visual deficiencies are. I have some amber lenses that work great for clays. It really makes the orange clays pop. The yellow seems best for low light situations. I?m generally a clear lens person if I?m indoors and a dark lens guy outside to reduce glare and eye strain.
Warm-toned lenses enhance perceived contrast.

I have one of each these. Bifocal lenses, just select the power.

Whooooa. Farm trout man, farm trout.
I wear prescription glasses to see anything within arms reach. For shooting I alternate between my prescription glasses, amber lenses and yellow lenses, depending on the circumstances.
