A group of University of Colorado students is pushing for the school's Board of Regents to institute a new ban on concealed carry weapons on campuses.

"Ever since the King Soopers shooting in Boulder, I think that that fear is heightened a lot... they've said they don't think guns belong on campus because they're scared."

"The board is absolutely going to consider this," said Ken McConnellogue, CU vice president of communications. 'What they're going to want to do is discuss the issue a little more, and hear from our campus safety professionals, you know, get their perspective. So really have a thorough discussion on the issue."

Yup. I sure the discussion will be thorough. I am equally certain they will enact a ban.

I thought this already went through the the state supreme court a decade ago and the old ban was abolished?

They can start by abolishing their Campus Police... or force them to patrol and respond to incidents unarmed, calling for permission to retrieve sidearms from a locked safe if need be. LMAO

The campus cops advised to hide, run, or fight.

Fight, sounds a lot like allowing people to carry arms.
