Is there any advantage to small base dies for .300 Blackout? Or just stick to standard full length dies?
Will be on a 550 if that matters, and be shot through an AR pistol.
Dillon dies are full length--that's what I'm looking at, but willing to consider the small base if there's a benefit.
Thanks!
If you bump the shoulder back 2-3 thou and your ammo doesent fit in your chamber, a small base die might fix it.
Most of the time people have problems when they dont bump back the shoulder or think that a gauge is an exact duplicate of their chamber.

I have a set of like new dillon blk dies, sitting here. Have to check, as they or the rcbs dies might be sb ones.
