View Full Version : Environmental disaster in East Palestine Ohio
Is anyone watching how the train wreck and release one-million pounds Vinyl Chloride from the cargo? Poly Vinyl is an extremely dangerous chemical.
It's flowed into the Ohio river and a decision was reached to burn some of the remaining toxins. The media is not reporting on this much and it is probably the largest environmental disaster any of us have ever seen. This may be on the scale of the Chernobyl disaster and the media has very minor coverage.
I read that the burning also put off toxic chemicals and they just told the locals to stay inside.
I've seen some pictures
While not a fun chemical. It's not going to contaminate the land for hundreds of years

I've been watching it since day one. VERY hard to find details initially.
Some bonehead decided the best way to clean up the wreck would be to burn it. You know, to prevent an explosion that may have shrapnel. Seriously. They evacuated a mile radius just in case. The burning released poison gases similar to some WWI chemical weapons. Whoever that bonehead was must have failed his chemistry class.
Animals and fish are dropping dead within a 10 mile radius or more. Farm animals, fish, family pets etc are being reported dead. Not good...

Don't worry. The Secretary of Transportation is on it! Err... maybe not...
https://www.foxnews.com/media/buttigieg-white-construction-workers-taking-jobs-communities-color
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg focused on racial disparities in construction during a Monday conference, claiming that construction sites are not employing local workers in minority communities and outsourcing to White people.
Maybe the Director of the EPA is on it? Nope.

You can imagine the media coverage if this happened during an R administration.
I'm not a follower of Twitter and ran across this. I don't know how to copy the video without sending everyone to Twitter but click the link and look at the video of the toxic plume from this fire. People in Canada are complaining of the smell and getting headaches from this smoke.

Just received this alert, not many details in the news yet, but there are train tracks that run right through there?..https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230214/9ac50c71a370b6cf551b0dee9034c470.png

Should also be noted, it doesn?t get any closer to Davis Monthan AFB without actually being on base.
Base and the stretch of the 10 (obviously in dark red) that is closed. Still no word on local news if it?s train or semi related, but the tracks run right next to the 10 through that stretch.

Just saw that on Fox, maybe my tinfoil hat is too tight, but it?s awfully ironic.

Speaking of tin-foil hats...
Been several trains wrecks/derailments lately (Source: https://www.newsweek.com/more-dozen-trains-have-derailed-us-this-year-1780952). Any chances theses aren't actually accidental and are being caused by someone/someones on purpose?

Maybe if we look up enough at balloons we won’t see the chemical spills..

I watched Fox- Tucker Carlson and MSNBC- Chris Hayes.
They are both blaming the opposite party.
Trump eliminated rules. Biden appointed fools.
It's very tiresome.

It’s the extended cold weather in those areas.
Reynolds’s Heavy Duty works well btw, it won’t tear and it’s strong enough to form spikes so you can stick it to your head….
The railways are a major player in the US economic transportation system. There is no way something like this should be ignored by the media or our "Politicians".
Rails are everywhere, I see lines of tanker cars going through Denver and don't give it a second thought.

Sometimes shit just happens. I know it's hard not to cast blame, but accidents aren't always someone's fault. We may never know the true cause of the derailment, but a blown bearing seems to be getting some attention. Bearings do that sometimes.
What should be getting all of the attention is the response and whichever dumb dumb cleared the controlled burn idea. Some government dipshit did that. And they'll deflect and blame the rail for everything.

Totally safe I'm sure.
The NTSB says they are looking at tons of footage provided to them, including one video that shows a car possibly on fire miles before.
Did a bunch of residents and farms for 20+ miles all review their home camera footage for the train in question and email it over to the NTSB? I seriously doubt that.
Did the NTSB knock on the door of some place 20 miles away, ask to see their obscure camera footage and just get lucky to see the problem train car pass by in 1 second of footage? I doubt that too.
Makes me wonder if they backdoored into cloud based personal security cameras. I know police have the ability to access Ring footage without consent or warrant. That's a scary thought if the NTSB did the same over such a large area. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230215/790bb68031344e0c01eb7666bfc1c66f.jpg

It is a chemical that is highly carcinogenic. It is used to make PVC pipe. Soak it up and add a bacteria. Why all the burning of toxic substances? The military industrial complex needs a reeducation.
LINK BELOW EXPLAINS THE substance:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vinyl_chloride
It also can be absorbed into the water supply and takes 10 years or so to degrade. Causes fun stuff like liver cancer.
When you burn it, the result bond's with water to form hydrochloric acid. Fun times

I remember driving back from Kansas one day, and there was a derailed train along I70.
Huh, I said. Someone needs to fix that.

Train derailments happen all the time.

The environmental impact of this particular train derailing, will be limited to East Palestine.

Guess the monkey pox thing didn't stick like they though it would. Distraction now is the floating objects being shot down and trains popping off the tracks. And creating environmental disasters. Let's see what's behind door number 3 next month!!!

Yup, gotta distract from the twitter censorship currently being investigated by congress and the epstein pedo files being force released by a judge this week. Think foreign powers don’t sense weakness and are exploiting the situation with “accidents”?

It seems unusual so many hazmat loads derailing within such a short time though.

Had another derailment occur today outside of Detroit. Only 1 tanker with chemicals on this one and no appearance of leaking.
