Some crazy guy ran into the lasvegas court house today and started to shoot up the place. Man there are crazy people out her on this earth. You think you are in a court house and you should be safe but i guess wrong. How do you guys fill about that? When you are in a area were you cant carry with you, you should fill safe right?

The guy was pissed because his Social Security got cut and he sued the SS Administration - and lost. He claimed the cuts were due to his ethnicity. That sounds a bit nutty to me so I'd have to agree that he was a total nut. Sad he had to take a guard with him.

Ironically, the only place I've ever been where I thought I might need a pistol, was when I visited Chicago.[LOL]
I believe my personal security and that of my family is MY responsibility. Check out BigBear's thread. Proof that bad shit can happen to anyone, anywhere.

A guy arriving for jury duty recorded the sounds of gunfire from across the street.

How did that guy get a gun in the court house? That my question. IF we cant carry you ccw with us in the court house, how he get one in. You hear all those shots fire. What kind of weapon did he have? ak/ar
He had a shot gun, and once you shoot the guard at the door, you can pretty much walk where ever you want after that.

CCW's are one of those things that you don't need, until you REALLY need. The one time you do need it justifies carting it around the rest of the time. Especially with whackjobs like the one that did this running around. You never can tell.

I grew up in las vegas and have a lawyer buddy who works at that courthouse.
It was a pretty intense experience yesterday.
Thank God not to many people got hurt.
It's sad about the guard who died though.
Once again just shows to prove that "gun free" zones are "safe zones" for killing.
