Looking for a local gunsmith to re-crown a S&W 629-6 Classic revolver.

Read about using a brass round headed bolt head and grinding compound. There are other methods available to a owner.
Look at what tools are available from a gunsmith supply

Yeah the one I'm looking for is brownells brass one caliber set, but its been on back order for a while.

I was wondering if it effects accuracy too. Just from a casual inspection of the picture it doesn't look terribly concerning.

I can recrown it for you if you'd like. My shop is down in Kiowa. I work on a good # of S&W revolvers.
