i-Tunes' music selection sucks

I just went through every album they selected as top albums for rock, pop, R&B, Alternative, and country. F'n sad state of affairs when you listen to every top song on every album and Miley Cyrus is in the top three out of everything listened to. What the hell is the music industry and i-Tunes doing? I have a pretty broad music selection, and the current batch of "new bands" makes Snoop Dogg sound like a musical genuis.

I believe the songs are ranked by most popular downloaded. Its not Itunes that ranks them. Its all the 12 year olds at home with mom and dads credit card info on their computers and ipods that they got for xmas or whatever. They are the ones downloading the most music, so their songs are the top rated.

Glucas beat me to it. I once down loaded 500 rap songs that was titled "500 best hip hop songs" or something. They are either songs I like, or total shit that I can't stand.

I can't stand iTunes, especially as a musician. Their "jazz" selection is dominated by Kenny G and Dave Koz. THATS NOT F*$KI#@ JAZZ!!! [Bang]
