They're not even trying to hide it any longer. Capitalism is the enemy and a more "equitable economic system" is the answer to societies ills. I'm so glad I don't have kids in school there.
The Colorado Education Association [CEA] reportedly passed a resolution that declares that "capitalism inherently exploits children, public schools, land, labor, and resources."
A final version of the resolution that was passed states that "CEA believes that capitalism requires exploitation of children, public schools, land, labor, and/or resources. Capitalism is in opposition to fully addressing systemic racism (the school to prison pipeline), climate change, patriarchy, (gender and LGBTQ disparities), education inequality, and income inequality.
However, a screenshot captures an earlier draft of the resolution that included a call to replace capitalism with a "new equitable economic system."
The screenshot of the original version of the resolutions reads "CEA believes that capitalism requires exploitation of children, public schools, land, labor, and/or resources and, therefore, the only way to fully address systemic racism (the school to prison pipeline), climate change, patriarchy (gender and LGBTQ disparities), education inequality, and income inequality is to dismantle capitalism and replace it with a new, equitable economic system."
The progressive tax rate and federal banking system was created to manage the population. Nothing new here

Denver's own resident Communist lawmaker says white owned business should have additional taxes imposed on them. That money would then be redistributed to black owned businesses as reparations.
“Capitalism was built on stolen land, stolen labors, and stolen resources,” said CdeBaca, who identifies as a Democratic Socialist.
If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.

While CO educators may be the first to put pen to paper for this philosophy, it's a sad truth that these beliefs are widely held and pushed by the majority of those operating our primary and secondary education systems all across the United States.
For at least the last 40 years, schools everywhere in the United States have adopted this belief system and have been indoctrinating (brainwashing) our children to them. This is part of why so many of our young adults have such a backwards,bias/liberal/communist mentality.
Even though this has been recognized as occurring for more than 20 years, there has been no real effort to stop the tide - and the results of this brainwashing is readily apparent in our society.
Parents had little power to reverse the brainwashing, particularly for pre-adolescent children, as they've needed to teach their children that teachers are authority figures to be respected and obeyed who get 8 hours/day with the children while parents are lucky to get 4-5 hours every evening with the kids. It's a game of numbers and the teachers know the numbers are in their favor.
Most parents can't home school their children, they can't afford to send their children to private schools and there aren't enough charter school positions available so they have no choice but to send their children to these primary indoctrination centers for their "education".
Over the last several years more and more parents have been trying to effect change in the "social education" being pushed on their kids by participating in school board meetings and making their voices heard. Many of these parents have been banned and blocked by the school boards and even labeled as "domestic terrorists" by our own DOJ. Even in the rare occurrences where concerned parents take control of rogue school boards via elections and try to effect positive change from the "inside", the teachers with their liberal/communist agendas simply adjust their techniques to teach the same twisted material in a more stealthy concealed manner - but they NEVER stop.
I KNOW that there are some actual GOOD teachers out there who don't buy into these ideologies, but I suspect that there's less than 1 of these for every 20 teachers in our schools. Again, it's a game of numbers where the odds are in the favor of those with the agenda. The impacts of these GOOD teachers is minimized by the constant barrage from the other side.
As I said above, the Left won't stop until they've destroyed everything that once make this nation great (probably not even then - choosing to double-down on their efforts). The total collapse of this nation is already written and it's just a matter of time before that end comes. As for me, I will continue to stay my course, maintain the values and beliefs I was raised with and help to instill these into my grandchildren as I did with my children. While it may make no difference in the overall outcome, for me and mine we'll at least know we tried.

Leftist near monopoly on education as a way to spread their ideas goes back much farther than 20 years.
The specific issues may have changed a bit but the overall ideals of collectivism and punishing the successful goes back to at least Karl Marx and actually many centuries before him.
It is a philosophy based on hatred and jealousy of those that achieve and succeed, whether based on hard work or luck.
The only way to equal that playing field is to bring them down to the level of the underachievers. That is most easily done by breaking a homogenized society into smaller factions and pit them against each other.

With the revelations mentioned above consider this cheery thought:
The new and improved Red Flag Law (ERPO) that is now in force gives educators the ability to “Red Flag” an individual.
Think about that really fucking hard for a few minutes…..

Yep................... scary to think what they will do now they have some power to terrorize a childs family.
"What did you do this weekend Johnny? Me and my dad went to the shooting range and shot his new AR."

Teachers? Well you just make a claim that the teacher has been touching your child inappropriately and possibly other children as well.
Two can play that game.
Be vocal about the school covering up reports and let the local media have at it.

What I learned in school is that the biosphere needs some culling. I also learned that bad advice, is your worst enemy.
Modern Crony Capitalism is merely the other side of Communism. Do not fall for the false binary that the two economic systems that you or I did not invent or vote for are the only options.
The worse the schools get the quicker they go away, which will be better for everyone in the long run.
While not an exhaustive list, you can generally track the decline of education and its replacement with re-education following the below timeline:
1. Compulsory Education between 1852 (Massachusetts) and 1917 (Mississippi).
2. National Education Association - 1857
3. Office of Education established - 1867
4. Free Elementary School in all States - 1870
5. Committee of 10 - 1892
6. High School Movement 1910 - 1940
7. American Federation of Teachers - 1916
8. Nineteenth Amendment - 1920
9. National School Lunch Act - 1946
10. Brown v. Board of Education - 1954
11. ESEA War on Poverty Act - 1965
12. No Child Left Behind Act - 2001
13. Every Student Succeeds Act - 2015

If you refuse to work for the authorities over you, they can gun you down. In the past the elitist class, used the warrior class, to punish the working class. It is truly an Orwellian "Animal Farm" system we live in today.

The story behind this public charter school is pretty remarkable.Yeah, but the town (once extremely conservative) isn't happy about a charter school paying to use part of the underutilized middle school building. The town is largely against the charter school and against the school board that made it possible for it to grow. The school board meetings in WP have been very "spirited" because of it.
I used to think this shit started with the LBJ Administration.....

The Academy was founded by Plato around 350 B.C. Epicureanism vs. Stoicism, each side thinking the rise of influence of the other will collapse civilization.
