I know a lot of you guys hate professional sports.

I have been a Nuggets fan since I was a little kid in the 80's. Dad took me to my first game when I was around 10 and I have been a fan since.

I was a fan when they were at their worst in 1997, winning a paltry 11 games.

This is the farthest they have ever progressed, having just swept the Lakers in the Western Conference Championship.

They have a very good chance of winning it all, something I never thought I would see.

I was kinda mad. My Father in law has had season tickets for 30+ years. He passed away last year but we still have his tickets which we split with a other guy. My wife went to game two and we were gonna sell game 5? well that?s not happening now. So I said we?re selling the finals tickets lol. She is a huge fan. I could care less I?d rather have the money for bills life etc. Hoping to get some good cash for these finals tickets.

When I lived in SoCal back in the early 80s was a big Lakers fan (as was almost everyone). I thought the Nuggets Doug Moe was basically a pirate and Bill Hanzlik was a thug. No more. Now I utterly despise Chinese Le Bron and who doesn't luv Jokic?

If I were a nuggets player, I would constantly fart all over the Hollywood and celebrity dipshits sitting in the courtside seats I'd change my game day diet just to make sure I could crop dust to my best ability.

The Nuggets are playing so well this year. I am amazed that they swept the Lakers. Murray is a superstar and Joker is... well... a beast

The Nuggets are definitely overdue for success and it's great to see the mainstream sports media squirming in their seat in uncomfortableness as the NBA idols are eliminated from the playoff picture. As far as I care, the Lakers and whatever team LeBum the race-baiter is playing for can loose every game they participate in moving forward. I like the current make-up of the Nuggets team.

Nice game coming off the break.

Three more!

I have been surprised at the amount of local coverage, however, they always include the Broncos that are at the games or mention the Nuggets.

This game was never close- it felt like a typical game on a Tuesday in February.

This Nuggets team is that good, and their opponent is so poorly matched that is it looking like a sweep.

Professional sports could help us all out by letting us know which moments in the game were fair and equitable and which moments are in need of protest due to the intrinsic unfairness of it all. Or I could just use the DILLYGAF ploy.

I watched the Nuggets in the 80s too lots of games at Big Mac with my dad, and I absolutely hate the Lakers; the team that always rained on the the Nuggets parade. It felt so good to see them beat the crap out of the Lakers for a change. Its hard to watch the NBA, I disagree with them so much and I dislike professional athletes and sports. It's a such a conflict to watch them, but after so many years of watching them fall short, I have to continue watching the Jokic era; he is not the typical selfish asshole athlete who sells out everyone for fame and fortune. I'll be done when Jokic is done. If they play the same as they did the Lakers, they'll win it; was a great start last night. It was cool seeing the pregame interview with Dan Issel. I hope they have more with Alex English and Fat Lever...and Mt Mutombo. After all the hours spent watching game after game for so many years, it all comes down to three more wins.

I have to hand it to the Nuggets. They got me to watch about 2 minutes of pro basketball for the first time ever. Once the play offs are over, I'll revert back to my don't care level of watching pro basketball again. GO Nuggets. This non-caring fan is pullin' for ya to make history...

With how well they are playing, I don’t think any team can beat them. Murray and Jokic and the supporting cast are looking pretty good

I went to a Denver basketball game once.
The only entertaining aspect of it was Spencer Haywood.

I have loathed basketball ever since, I was always happy to go to a Denver Spurs game and later the Rockies and nickle beer night.

Well I watched the last 2 minutes of the 3rd qtr. and the last 8 minutes of the game last night. Most pro b-ball that I've watched ever, BUT I have to say the nuggets were making passes/assists in that time that were just awesome plays. Actually fun to watch. And without the Joker on the floor, the team played dang well. Actually finding myself cheering for them to win it all.

So far, not a lot of concern about needing a riot tonight.

congrats Nuggets. Wife and I watch the last quarter. Was pretty exciting, I must admit.

And the piss poor fowl call at about the 3 minutes to go mark is why I don't usually watch. Surely that Ref doesn't have a job today. He must've had money on the Heat to win because he tried his best to make it happen.

Never thought I'd see it.

Guess I need a new hat.

I am already looking forward to next year.

Only 11 people shot downtown on Market. My bet was at least 20.. https://kdvr.com/news/local/nba-finals-2023-11-people-shot-downtown-after-denver-nuggets-win/

I agree with you. It's ridiculous that the review confirmed the defensive player's fault that he got kicked in the junk when the offensive player jumped to make a shot. [facepalm]

The referees get paid a ton of money per game for post season games. Last night it was obvious they wanted to have the nuggets lose so they could grab some more $$$$$$$$$$$$. That call in the 4thq was absolutely absurd, especially after the review.
