Anyone remember when VPOTUS Kamala Harris spat in the face of all veterans and their families last Memorial Day?

During a televised appearance, she failed to address the sacrifices our veterans made, which is why Memorial Day is on our calendar, a day of somber remembrance and respect for legions of fallen heroes protecting our nation.

Indeed, she failed to make any mention of our Armed Forces at all.

Instead, she gave a big smile, waved, and said, "Enjoy the three day weekend!"

I do not believe this was done out of ignorance or abject stupidity. I believe it was intentional, premeditated, and approved by her advisors, all of whom probably thought they were very clever and edgy having the Vice President speak to the nation on television just prior to Memorial Day and tell the entire military to go fuck themselves.

I'm still pissed off about that.

Memorial Day, Veteran's Day...

but we have pride month. the whole month.

(for the record, I loathe, despise and hate when people say "thank you for your service", I dont care if its about my Marine Corps Service, Fire Service or as a Paramedic. I dont want or need thanks.)

Worse still when it's on Memorial weekend/Memorial Day.

Worse still are those guys who show up at Denny's wearing their dogtags from 20 years ago when they served as an E2 Clerk/Typist, lol.

I agree. I guess people generally mean well but it's just turned in nothing but a platitude that means nothing any more. Kinda like calling someone racist now.
