Does anyone know the replacement part number at McMaster for the MSR seals on the red fuel bottles? I"d like to reseal all of my red bottles, but the "maintenance kit" is $30 at MSR and comes with only one O-ring.

Same question about the 20 liter Scepter fuel cans. Need Viton for a few cans that originally were sealed for diesel.

If you got a size, a Parker store might carry them, too.

...in fact, if you bring one into a Parker store they might be able to measure it for you.

There is a couple of places in Denver that specifically deals in seals. Here’s one.

The reason why I did not suggest places like ACE or other non specific to outlets is they sell a standard dimensional O-rings. Unless if you know for certain that this is a standard dimensional O-ring, you’re just wasting your time and money, hoping it would work versus paying maybe a dollar extra for a person that knows how to measure the fuel bottle and cap and the O-ring for the correct fit. There is also tapered type O-rings so unless knowing this the effort is lost, that’s why they’re selling these kits for 30 bucks. I’m using the name o ring as a basic term.

I recommend figuring this out not to save a buck but to be able to roll into any Ace, Lowes or even auto garage when you bust one on the road.
BunaN will work fine but I think the ethanol eats it away over time.
