I have to hit Colorado Springs for work tomorrow and offered to bring some breakfast burritos for the people I?m meeting up with.

Where?s the best place in the Springs for me to grab some?

Thanks.

I'm fond of Taco Express for their breakfast burritos. Don't forget to get some of each sauce. Think there are 3-4 locations.

I always go to the one off Garden of the Gods & Centennial.

I like Rochas on 8th street https://taco-express4colorado-springs.edan.io/

Mostly because it's next to my favorite coffee shop!

Quijotes Mexican Grill was the spot for a long time.

Monica's Taco Shop (https://monicastacoshop.com) is where most USAF & USSF units and base people get their breakfast burrito's.

They don't open until 7AM though.

They have 3 locations here in the Springs:
1485 Jamboree Dr (Off of Academy Blvd near the USAFA South gate)
5829 Palmer Park Blvd (In the strip mall along Powers Blvd/CO Hwy 21 South of Palmer Park Blvd and a few blocks North of Galley Rd)
30 E Fillmore St (45 second drive East of I-25 on Fillmore / JUST West of Nevada)

I've had all of their meat options (I don't do vegetarian!) and they're all delicious.

That shouldn?t be an issue. I?m not leaving my house until 6AM. No way I?ll make it to the Springs before 7.

What area will you be in? The springs is very spread out, so you may want to consider finding something on your way rather than getting a bunch of recommendations all over town.

I agree with Ginsue on Monica's. Never had a bad one there, usually at the Palmer Park / Powers location. They used to be open 24 hours and I have picked up dinner there as late as 10 PM recently but I guess the pandemic cut their midnight shift.

Monica's FTW. Also love their crispy chicken tacos... I dunno what they marinate their chicken with, but it's bomb.

Somewhere south of the airport. I?ll find something in all of these suggestions that isn?t too far off the highway.

Good. I went with the place that theGinsue recommended mostly because of its proximity to the airport. Also, he seems like a man who has a refined palate.

I did get a little sticker shock when I found out they were $8 a piece but I felt a little better when they handed me the bag and it was surprisingly heavy. They were a little bigger than I expected.

The guys that I got them for seemed to enjoy them.

Thank you all for the help. Maybe if I have to go back down there next year I?ll try some of the other recommendations.
