From a couple weeks ago in Longmont. My family are semi-frequent patrons at the next door Chase, Dicks and BestBuy...

Longmont police believe the four men who were involved in Wednesday night?s armed robbery at Famous Footwear are connected to two other crimes in the Denver-metro area, where authorities believe the suspects reside.

Police have released surveillance photos of four teenage Hispanic men seen fleeing the Famous Footwear at 205 Ken Pratt Blvd. at 6:17 p.m. Wednesday. According to police, the suspects gathered 10 to 12 pairs of shoes and pointed a gun at a store employee before leaving the business with the shoes.

Once outside in the parking lot, one man fired the handgun into the air and fired another round at the store?s front entrance, striking the mirrored glass just west of the door. Though employees and patrons were present at the time of the robbery, no injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing and police are working in partnership with two other law enforcement agencies to identify and arrest the suspects. If anyone can identify the individuals in the photos or were a witness and have not yet spoken to police, they are asked to contact Longmont police Detective Schlagel at (303) 651-8543 or by email at philip.schlagel@longmontcolorado.gov and reference report No. 23-7743.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

That works until you are sharing the parking lot with these goblins. They also could have decided they were entitled to merchandise in any other of the business establishments, including the one where you or your family is patronizing.

OnStar, please give me a list of white GMT800 vehicles

Yeah got some shoes there a few days after. The elderly security guard they posted inspired confidence. [emoji2357]

I agee, but sometimes they are the only place that has what you need for kid sports. Scheels isn't close-by, and Big 5's selection can be extremely spotty.

First thought is the little fat fuck looks like he's enjoying himself.

That's not a shot I would take. The time to have taken it is past, when LFF was still in the store, pointing the gun at the employee.

It looks pretty zoomed in- no telling how far the actual shot would be.

Add to that shooting through a window and not knowing who may walk in front of you and the LFF or what is behind the Tahoe or whatever the white Chevy is.

There is no way of knowing if LFF's friends were armed as well.

Plus, they ain't my shoes, or my store.

Going after them sounds like it could place you in a lot of potential trouble, and for what? To teach them a lesson? To murder them?

Fair enough assessment of the situation. I don't think anyone in the competent armed defensive community is acting to protect third party business property. However, I do agree if I was in the store or parking lot and Party Boy threatens or points said pop gun in my or my family's direction, all bets are off.

However, none of that prevents the pic from being enlarged and printed for range use- it's a lovely "real life" target.

My response is the same thing i tell people who ask, What If? During training and or ccw classes.

Does what's happening meet the criteria for use of deadly force under your states Use of Deadly Force Statues? Yes, or No?

If no then seek other options for yourself, or family. If Yes. Well ...................

True.

We had a guy hang a target that looked like a photo. Asked him what it was, he said i'm getting divorced and that's X . Yeah, not happening here, take it down or get your money back. Pictures/ photos of real people, not those terrorist targets, are not allowed on range. There's a liability angle, among other things , one has to consider. What one does elsewhere is on them.

I guess there is always your private range or dispersed shooting area.
