I have gotten multiple notices from other forums about changes with Tapatalk.
Each says, "We originally granted Tapatalk access to our forum in order to provide a better mobile experience for our members. Last month, Tapatalk notified us that they are changing ownership. After reviewing their service, other forums? experiences, and member feedback, we have decided to wind down Tapatalk?s access to [Insert forum name here] on Sep 21, 2023. This means that [Forum] will no longer be available on Tapatalk after that date."
I've googled for info and found nothing to reflect change in ownership. Are the admins here seeing the same thing? And what, if anything, should member expect?

I've received the same notice a number of times over the last couple of days as well.
Same notice here and not terribly long ago I had a forum just drop Tapatalk access with no warning.
I?m a fairly busy person these days and Tapatalk is almost exclusively my best way to access any forum I?m on.
I?ll miss some of you guys when I can no longer access these forums via Tapatalk.
I?m guessing there is probably a financial reason behind everyone starting to ditch it?

I don't even know what Tapatalk is or what it does. When I want to visit a forum, I go to the forum.

Tapatalk is my primary access to the site and have yet to receive any notice.

Does the notice specifically name COAR15?
Are those of you getting the notice using free version or paid?

Pretty sure you can?t just go to the forum. I bet you?re getting there through a browser of some sort.
For those of us who do most things on our phones it?s way easier to use the Tapatalk app.
I?m running the free version and no notification from them or this forum. Yet.

Correct- I just use the browser, whether on a computer or on my phone. Why do you need something else? What is the advantage?

Way easier to use through the app, free even.

I'm in the same boat. here. Laptop, desktop, or phone, I just use a standard web browser to access this site.
After trying it a few times when we first implemented it here, I never the attraction.
As I recall, J is the one who originally set the site up to be able to access it through Tapatalk. I keep a fairly close eye on the site email and we haven't received any notifications from Tapatalk (such has an email stating they're changing anything that might require effect us --- or anything else.).
If we hear anything that could effect member experiences, we'll let you know. Until then, I can't say I'd be concerned about it at all.
ETA: After reviewing all of the provided examples, it seems like they're all using a "form letter". I wonder if this is legit or a hack into Tapatalk itself to present a false message.

No it does not mention COAR-15, but with the mass exodus from Tapatalk I decided to reach out to see if our admins had input.

Thanks for weighing in. I frequent many forums on mobile, but COAR-15 the most. I hope it's just BS, but I've been alerted from three different accounts (registered under different emails.)
They are obviously form letters and I just noticed each references the same address in Canada at the bottom. It's interesting they all direct you to try another mobile access point. One with terrible reviews!

The whole experience in general is just quicker and easier to navigate, especially if you?re always busy and on the go. I?m not sure I?ve been on the forums through a browser in years.

For now, it seems most are coming from Verticalscope hosted sites. All the same basic canned letter. My first thought was scam/spam but it's hard to tell with the limited info available right now.
Never used it, on the phone I just open the browser and a saved link.
But also I’m one of those people who doesn’t like having a whole bunch of apps. K.I.S.S.
