I'd never heard the term "dying by bullets."
We don't want school resource officers. Hey, why is there violence in schools?

Instead of just people in the Hood Rat infestation zone, I wish they would also interview teens and young adults from across the state who have daily access to firearms and utilize them for non-criminal purposes. But I already know the variety of reasons why that doesn't occur...
That "innocent victim" kinda looks like a perpetrator. Big kid wearing a militant open borders/anti LE shirt. There definitely is more to this story.

The stats would be drastically different if those who do not belong here were not here.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim.
"teens" are instantly identified by the media when in large groups, but somehow there is no individual identification on the crime report

Put the asswipes away. A majority of mental institutions were close in the 80"s. for example, the bed space in Pueblo is down 97%

Dr. Peter Langman, who is writes about and studies school shootings talks regularly about firearms. Most of these experts will tell you it is extremely important to have a trained professional conducting threat assessments because possession of firearms and access to firearms alone is not a warning sign. It could be if in conjunction with other factors along with an unusual or extremely recent liking of firearms. He even states in one of his books with the number of legally owned firearms in the country it's clear that ownership is not the deciding factor of violence. Mind you, I don't believe he's a supporter of firearms ownership (I don't know for sure, just the impression I get with his material).

They definitely made to point out "Ghost Guns" with 80 percent lowers and that were 3D printed and were regularly falling into the hands of youth. I'm sure it happens but I can't imagine it's a drastically high number especially since they didn't put a number or percentage in the article (unless I missed it).

The fun fact is that if the youth in question aren't shitbags, it doesn't really matter that the firearms "in their hands" are ghost guns, received from family, or purchased on their own 4473 at age 18.

Well no one wants to talk about what real active shooter prevention looks like or use actual facts otherwise it would negate their argument that guns are the cause.
If a student brings a stolen Glock to school, they don't expel them.
They don't even want to suspend or arrest them.
Instead, send them to the office every morning before class to be frisked... and we saw how well that worked a few months ago.

This is a silly article written by a leftist for a sympathetic audience.
It is full of anecdotes of gun violence with zero facts about anything.
The one character that says anything about 3-D printed guns is an advocate for, what seems, his own foundation.

Agreed.
Journalism is feelings.
Politics are feelings.
There are no unbiased sources.
Every issue come down to how you "feel" about it, regardless of facts presented.

Developed enough to have genetilia removed due to "mature" decisions. Of course they are, same for voting @ 16, they keep pushing. BUT... not mature to buy a gun till they're 21. That's how fuked this world has become.

As mentioned in a post earlier,
There should be one definition of adult age.
If someone is an adult at 18 to enter the service, then that person should be an adult for all other purposes - voting, driving, signing a contract, drinking, and all other adult decisions.
Just sayin'

Someone told me that they think the adult age should be 21 to buy a gun and I said okay I'm fine with that. But they can't join the military until 21 or vote, or take a loan, etc. That would jack up a lot of stuff doing that, but I'm okay with it if it's across the board.

You mean equal application of the law ? Face it, the USA is a prime example of Orwellian "Animal Farm".

I'd be okay with moving that goal post to 25. The nanny state doesn't want you to be on your own until around that age, their implication in the criminal justice system is that you should be held accountable until that age due to a lack of frontal cortex development, their insurance requirements are that age, so let's make all things that age. Voting rights start then, drinking, smoking start then. I bet they would backtrack quickly once they lost that voting base.

I know the armed forces missed massive recruiting goals this year. The age 21-25 is their largest group. Add the age group of 17 to 21 and they would never get the personnel they need. If 25 was the voting age I have a feeling this country would move significantly right politically
