Car located but still looking for the suspect, the guy supposedly was recently in a facility for mental health issues, lovely. I hope this ends quickly with no more innocents loss of life.

I believe Maine also has the Triple-D, so stand-by for the Mom's agenda to be fully implemented in the next legislative session. They just need a catalyst.

I was thinking the same thing. Plus the picture they released of the shooter pointing what appears to be an AR 15 style rifle.

And he had been hearing voices, threatened to shoot up the Army base in Saco. This guy needs to be ended.

well if anything the narrative that mental health needs the attention, not the gun, should be front and center... if he was in fact just in a facility and is hearing voices, etc.

A BR-15? BR-308? I am getting confused...

I thought the US military uses the 5.56x45?

I thought the US military uses the 5.56x45?Assualt rifle - term erroneously applied to MSR(modern sporting rifle) or AR15 typically chambered in 5.56x45 NATO

The .223 Remington cartridge can be fired in a rifle chambered for NATO 5.56x45.

Battle Rifle - term erroneously applied to MSR or AR10 typically chambered in .308 Winchester

The 7.62x51 NATO round can be fired in rifle chambered for .308 Winchester.
